The Unit also reserves the right to block access to any one individual or group from the entire website, or to comment to a issue discussion. Comments will be monitored for suitability in support of respecting racial, religious and political sensitivities, and in order to protect the rights of each commentor where available. Everything the commentor says in explicity or expressed in defamatory statements is bound to sedition laws from the commentor’s country of origin, and may be used against the said commentor. Discussion Policy

Whenever an issue discussion is published on TNB Talks, an open discussion period will be made available for 3 - 7 days, after which the discussion will be closed permanently. For all discussions, the following discussion policy is applicable:

  1. COMPULSORY REGISTRATION
    You must register to post your opinion to a discussion. The comment form must be filled in with a proper or legitimate sounding name. Comments using keywords, spam or splog-like URLs, or suspicious information in the comment form will be edited or deleted.
  2. E-MAIL ADDRESS REQUIREMENT
    E-mails are required for all comments, and must be legitimate. E-mails will not be published to the site. However, the TNB Media Relations Unit may use the e-mail to privately contact the commenter for invitations to functions or focus group discussions.
  3. APPROPRIATION OF OPINIONS
    An opinion which does not add to the conversation, runs of an inappropriate tangent, or kills the conversation may be edited, moved, or deleted. With this in mind please make sure you provide a constructive opinion each time you comment to the site.
